GrandPrix69_Sounds_V0.2_ducwolf for Grand Prix Legends

This is an unprofessional soundedition as addon for Grand Prix Legends.

All files now in mono for better compatibility on low end systems.Consequently
You also get a full set of mono converted and volume adjusted sounds for
gravel skid crowd......... . Use them to have less sound corruptions in GPL
on XP !

The files can be used for all GPL cars, but recommended for the 69 engines.

So they are named for the 69 cars.

The sounds basing on recordings of the real F1 engines of 69.

The BRM V12 file 691 is a variation of my 65 Honda sound. This is not accidentially
because the sounds have much in common. For 3liter it has more body in this version.

The Ferrari V12 is made after listening to the Shell commercial, where we have heared
a 69 V312 with an insane sound. The file 694 is really insane too, and maybe I've done
a bit too much ? No matter it is showtime now !

The DFV Ford Cosworth engine sounds are very realistic mostly over the whole rev range.
Take a little time to let it rev in the pits, to listen to it at lower rpm and compare
it with the real one. The sound is a bit "covered" for better high rev resonances.
Due to the fact that GPL allowes only one single file for the engine sound this compromise
is nesassary, but it is immidiatly forgotten if You stay in the starting grid !

The best feature of this soundset is to hear them in a race ! I'm still working on the
technical quality of each single file, but the experience ingame is very satisfiing and
reason enough for a release at this time.

I never use headphones, so please try if they are usefull for it !?

Installation:

Backup Your existing files (!) and copy and paste the new files into Your GPL soundfolder.
Remember the check boxes in GEM+ for carsound. You must have a Carsound patched GPL.exe to
hear the addon sounds in game.

None of the files may be used for any commercialisation or distribution without my permission.
They are freeware for my GPL friends all over the world , who like my little contribution to
this fantastic simulation and the astonishing mods of it.
